Except:
1) sauteed onions and garlic until onions translucent, put in crockpot w/raw potatoes, liquids and spices; cooked on “high” for about 2 hours
2) added 2 tsps salt
3) liquids: instead of cream, 1 can lite coconut milk; instead of tomato soup, 1 (14 oz) can of crushed tomatoes; about 1/4 c water to thin out
4) doubled cumin, used fresh grated ginger

This dish is really quite tasty. Instead of grilling or broiling the chicken on skewers, I simply boiled it in the marinade in a pan, stirring occassionally. When transfering it to the sauce, I used a slotted spoon to let most of the marinade slip through.
