Just viewed several videos with people with SMA, CP, and ALS using SwitchXS along with Visiovoice and Proloquo on a Mac running Tiger. I met one of the engineers at Assistiveware a few years ago, and was impressed then with SwitchXS and Mike Phillips' speed when gaming. I don't think there's anything else out there providing this type of customizable access. Truly amazing. The 10 year old girl with CP using word prediction will only get better with practice. I've seen kids exit school systems who if they had had access to this and/or AT would not be sitting at home vegetating, not been written off as mentally disabled from not having a voice.
