I'm a graduate student in the Department of Computer Science at UNC-Chapel Hill. I'm working as a Research Assistant in the GAMMA group with Prof. Ming C. Lin and Prof. Dinesh Manocha. My research interests are interactive computer graphics, crowd simulation, and physically-based simulation. I am also interested in applying psychology and computer vision to computer graphics and crowd simulation.

I received BSE and MS in Computer Science from Ewha Womans University. I worked with Young J. Kim on my master’s project. I have done internships at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and INRIA Rhone-Alps (under Stephane Redon). Before coming to the US, I worked as a Researcher at Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) with Jinwook Kim and as a Software Engineer at SK C&C.

I have many extra-curricular interests. I like playing the violin, listening to the music (especially classical music and Korean traditional music), cooking, knitting, crafting, pottery, drawing, and reading comic books. Some sports I like are: swimming, taekwondo, yoga, table tennis, tennis, snowboarding, and skating. I love animals and plants. I also like adventures :D
