* Bucket xyz and find z bucket with most points for each xy . Keeping only these points will give us a less noisy surface. Shawn has done a quick version of this one. Here are some possible extensions: Let's assume that the finalization grid matches this grid, and add command line flags to spfinalize that allow us to choose the grid lines to be, e.g., every 10 meters. Jack would also like to use this to find a "digital surface" in the voxelated sense, and then compute a delaunay-like triangulation inside the "digital surface". Trees give a volume, for which we would want to have the outer shell (and trunk) as the digital surface. -- Main.JackSnoeyink - 15 Nov 2008
